Great beginning Rajeswari and thanks for creating this blog.Hope this will help to keep the candle burning longer. We expect all to join us in the debate on India first issues. We are all inspired by the love of our motherland and will be keen to be guided if we go wrong. Ultimately, what is good for the country must prevail. At present the RSA is engaged in mobilising public opinion against the government's repressive measures on civil society movements against corruption. Right to protest is basic in a free democracy. The present government led by Dr Manmohan Singh and controlled by Sonia Gandhi is turning India into a police state. The statements of minister smack of their intoxication in power. Lord Acton rightly said power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The Congress has taken as if they have the divine right to govern this country.
